Arrival & Orientation

Orientation will be approximately 5 days and will introduce you to your role as a staff member at Kutsher's Sports Academy. Our information sessions are designed to give you all of the tools that you need to be successful in your role this summer. In addition to the information sessions, you can expect hands on workshops, games, and fun activities & events throughout the week. These will all set the tone for the amazing summer ahead!

You will also have the opportunity to get acquainted with your co-counselors and all of the other amazing stuff on camp. We will plan some fun nights for you both on and off camp.

When you arrive at camp, you will be given a temporary cabin assignment. Permanent assignments will be given after our one week mini-camp session. We do our best to ensure that each staff member is assigned to an age group that best fits their skills and personality.

Frequently asked questions

This is a unique time and we understand and appreciate all concerns about COVID-19. The Summer Club will be a socially distanced environment. Each family will be required to socially distance from other families on site.

We respectfully request that all families follow our social distancing guidelines and we will have staff on site to enforce this policy. Families or members who do not follow these guidelines will be asked to leave.

Reservations will be required for tennis, basketball, volleyball, and the lake. Families can reserve areas by calling our office in advance. Reservations can also be made on site.

Summer pass holders can reserve activities up to two weeks in advance. Week pass holders can reserve activities up to one week in advance. Day pass holders can reserve activities up to 48 hours in advance.

We anticipate a high demand for our waterfront and tennis courts. Our waterfront & tennis courts will have a 90 minute time limit. Families can continue to enjoy these areas if no other families are waiting.

Due to the concerns related to Covid-19, the Club will be an outdoor only operation. In the event of rain, the Club reserves the right to shut down operations. If time allows, the Club will resume operations when courts and fields are safe for play. Day and week pass holders will receive a rain check if they were on site for less than (2) hours due to weather. Rain checks may be used on any other day the Club is open for business (normal reservation policy would apply).
